Event Description

TIME: 10:30 AM - 12 PM

The Glacier Range Riders, in cooperation with the Miracle League of Northwest Montana, are hosting a baseball clinic for children ages 7-18 with a special need or disability of any kind or severity. No prior experience, equipment, or skills required to play. The event will feature multiple areas of instruction led by Miracle League coaches and supported by Range Riders players and coaches. The event will conclude with a short scrimmage. The structure of the scrimmage will be similar to a traditional Miracle League game. All players play defense each inning and have a turn to bat. No outs are called and each player advances one base at a time. The final batter is the “home run hitter” and all players advance to home plate.

In the event of inclement weather, a meet and greet with players and coaches will be held on the concourse.

Know Before You Go

Please park in the area near the home plate entrance. Staff will be available at Gate 3 to assist participants who need to use the elevator to access the field. Gate 3 will be the only entry point for the event. Parents who wish to stay for the duration of the event are asked to sit in the area behind the 1st base dugout. Participants who require on-field assistance to participate in the event are asked to provide the name of the person who will be assisting the player to the Miracle League at miracleleaguenwmt@gmail.com at the time of registration. To ensure the safety of the players, coaches and participants, no other parents or siblings will be allowed on the field at any time. Water is the only drink allowed on the field. No metal cleats or spikes are allowed on the field. All other ballpark rules and policies (found here: https://gorangeriders.com/FAQs ) remain in effect.

ARRIVE EARLY - Please arrive to Glacier Bank Park 20 minutes before the scheduled start time.

WHAT TO BRING - Bring a glove, water, and sneakers (metal cleats are not allowed)
